yea mate-07 Corollas are CVT. Rumion is just a corolla with different body.

Bugga, was hoping it wasn't. Mrs wants a new(er) car and likes 'boxes' lol. I like the Toyota Rumion, Roomy and tank, which all seem to be cvt. She likes the 2nd gen' BB which from my research is a std auto', but i can't get past the look of the rear of them haha. cough cough cough. vomit. She's got an '01 Vitz RS that's done 362,000k and is getting a little tired so looking to "upgrade" but the choices aren't fantastic. Main criteria are, Kinda boxy, cam chain and std auto. I also like the 1st gen' BB but she says they're too old. pfffft

I can "feel" your anti CVT but honestly mate the Toyo CVT is pretty well bullet proof. The darn thing IS a late model Aurus/corolla/fielder etc etc mechanically. Build like a brick outhouse. What about the Nissan Cube?--not gen 1 but Gen 2 My memory is a bit fuzzy tonight but I THINK the second gen BB was actually a Daihatsu product badge engineered as Toyota. You could go for a Daihatsu Materia or a Subaru Dex -same car

I imported a 2007 Rav4, 6 months ago but did not check trans code, and it turned out to be CVT--did not think the 4WD were CVT,but have since found out they are all CVT regardless of 4WD or 2WD. Anyway have had no problems so far,and find it good to drive.
