I have read of several restorations of unique cars where they have been 3D scanned, making duplicate panels/parts easier.
As to the best of my knowledge, there has never been a 1/32, or 1/24 or larger kit/model of my car ever produced, I wondered about 3D printing.
I know that there are agencies that can convert a load of photographs into 3D drawings, or smaller objects can be scanned, but is there a full (car sized) 3D scanner in NZ, so that I could then 3D print my own model - or is this just dreaming?

Just use a portable scanner that moves around the item to be scanned.
