Looks like some wires for big bucks to me.

thejazzpianoma, Sep 16, 7:14pm
Not a fair review in my opinion. you get a fully customizable sticker as well! (You have to cut it out yourself)

Looks like some cross over wires with a couple of plugs to reverse the up down positions when the shifter is in the manual position. Nothing you couldn't likely do yourself with some pliers and solder.

How much do they want for it?
Fully deniable Toyota tax no doubt applies.

Reverses a couple of wires to make your down shift direction with the gear lever become up shift and vice versa.

Basically push forward to down shift pull back to up shift.

Assume t's an auto with tiptronic control on gear lever. At present does it change up when you push it forward? Many, including many car makers, consider this wrong way round. Especially if you're a motorcyclist.
This reverses the effect so that you the. Push forward to change down. Pull back to change up. Braking and pushing forward which is natural motion. Accelerate and pull back as you're pushed back.
Turns wrong into right brilliant idea.

Just can't help yourself can you. Sad really. You could be a respected contributor on here but your constant digs, jibes, trolling and put downs make you nothing but a sad, non qualified, bitter little man. Try respecting the fact that others drive what they drive and stick to the helping where you can

Looked like a helpful reply to me.

agree, a bit tongue in cheek but nothing untrue IMO

I'm with jazz on this one, the sticker is by far the most useful part!

We seem to have an increasing number of snowflakes on this MB who get triggered whenever someone either disagrees with them or pokes a bit of light-hearted banter. (These delicate souls wouldn't last a minute in the average workshop smoko room).

May I suggest they would find the Parenting MB to be a suitable 'safe space'.

Yeah, thought that tax would be the same or less than what VAG purchasers pay, so fair call.
But
I did notice the same poster is rather quick in referring to others as knuckle dragging trolls, does he want to fit into his own description?

bwg11, Sep 16, 9:48pm
Sadly, my opinion too. I'm with Tamarillo on this one, it changes counter-intuitive to intuitive.

Well WV have only recently 'corrected' the DSG manual shift direction. Took me half an hour to 'fix' mine.

To be frank I often don't agree with jazz either, (you may have noticed he's somewhat opinionated!) but this PC 'I'm offended because you disagree with me" diatribe from you young guys leaves me shaking my head in disbelief.

Might be time to harden up mate? (Or visit the parenting MB).

Ha ha . god it's so damn predictable, as you say berg he just can't help himself !
How many times is it now, I've lost count pretty much like everyone else I'd wager.

ema1, Sep 17, 7:19am
He does already, pity he doesn't recognize the fact. all to funny really.

I've had a car where the window switches worked backwards. That got changed around pretty bloody quickly.

Years ago when I was driving a topdressing loader, we borrowed one from another area and the bloody dump-door lever worked backwards. Had to persevere for that day, having to overly concentrate while weighing out, instead of just doing it naturally.
Swapped those hoses around as soon as I got to some tools.
Always laughed to myself at how they would have got on when they got it back.
