I need to glue a glass rear window back into a convertible top, would there be anyone here that could give me advise what glue should be used for this please.

Many years ago, where I worked , we reglued a window (the hood fabric had partly pulled away from the glass,about a 200mm section) with windscreen urethane glue, worked well ,the glue can be messy to work with,so mask everything up carefully .

I thought you glued then stitched through the glue

Thats when you replace a plastic window ie early MX5, however some convertible tops have the fabric directly bonded to the glass(proper glass not plastic) ie Golf Mustang etc.
