Hey all. Can any of you auto sparky whizzes please advise or perhaps provide a wiring diagram as to how I go about wiring this basic rev counter to an equally basic L200? Older ute, no electronics to speak of, just an old fashioned coil etc. It has a shift light but I don't need or want that because I'm not a boy racer, just don't like not having a rev counter. I only need to hook up the tach itself.
Auto gauge. Cheap imitation of auto meter I guess. Tried googling but couldn't find anything. I think green wire goes to neg side of coil, black to ground obviously, one of them is for dash lights, but unsure which one, and what to do with the others.
Would like to know which ones are for the shift light so as to eliminate those from the equation.
