A huge loss to motoring. He was in my opinion (and no doubt may others) by far the best current CEO of any automotive company. His management prowess, passion for the industry and sheer class was unsurpassed.
If you are at all interested in management, F1 or vehicle manufacturing he is totally worth reading about, especially his recent years.
He will leave an enormous hole.

BTW. if you think he was only responsible for things Italian. We wouldn't have the Dodge Hellcat without him.
How many can say they have produced one of the worlds best ever American muscle cars AND some of Italy's finest sports cars. Not to mention numerous other impressive American vehicles. All from a company he pulled from the ashes.
Without him Ferrari might go conservative and keep Kimi for yet another season.
