Our Mazda has all of that and a bit more. Tried the adaptive LED headlights last night and they worked well,. Best noticed as we came up a our street as they brightened and widened the beam (but not high beam).

Lane keep assist is great, you can feel the wheel making slight adjustmens as you drive along to keep you in the centre of the lane.

I wonder what will happen if a possum or rabbit runs out infront of these cars.
BANG. rearended by the car behind you, who was expecting you to just smoke it. LOL

Volvo's system does not detect cats, dogs or other fast moving animals.

"when hurtling toward a moose, you should hit the gas in a bid to send it over the roof of the car, instead of through the windshield"

Bahahaha. good one, I will take my chances with the brakes thanks.

gunhand, Oct 1, 7:21am
Yes, the man from Volvo did indeed recommend not doing that and using brakes.

thejazzpianoma, Oct 1, 7:25am
Volvo's active braking system has always been spectacular.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNi17YLnZpg . but not to be discouraged, they were so confident the second time they used human targets. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_47utWAoupo

I drove a new Volvo truck that has the lane changing support, as in this link:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DvGHnuJvKM However on 1 particular rural T intersection, it would set it off when slowing down at the end of the side road to turn left onto the main road, every time? It didnt do it on any other intersections? There was nothing there at all execpt a give way sign?
It was just grass, then about 8m away a fence into a flat paddock?
No kerb, no power boxes, power poles, nothing?
What could cause a false alarm like this?
Didnt give me much confidence in the system!

It was here, turning off Golf Rd left onto Rawiri Rd, every time, the other driver complained about it too.
