Just bought a 1950 Chev pick up and wanting to put another chassis under it more modern and rh drive i hear the 02 Toyota Hilux chassis are rather good or maybe a Holden one tonne does any one have any thoughts.

Why cant you just use the same chassi and upgrade the suspension? Wouldn't that be simpler?

The truck came as a chassis and shell in good condition but the pink slip has gone missing and it would be very hard to get it vinned here in New zealand it would be easier start with a new build
