That’s repair certification!

Oh, ok . no it didn't fail, and the bike has had a frontal OR NO. and I should have rephrased the question to ::::: SUPPOSE I etc
but that aside, if a wof tester eyeballs the bike and isn't happy . who starts the measurement game, . could be an expensive exercise ?

My understanding is that the wof is a visual inspection only. No wof inspector can “eyeball†that measurement. If he finds something wrong and you disagree with him/her then ask for a complaint form. Take it to a bike Certifier and if it’s all good send the invoice of costs to the WOF station.

Please mate tell us what the story is on this hypothetical bike. If its got a CURRENT WOF then it goes for a WOF inspection as per normal. it would need to have a noticeable bend to fail to be honest. Frankly bent enough that you wouldn't want to ride it. If its derego then it depends if its lapsed or insurance dereg.--if insurance then it MUST be measured to be sure its straight.--ie specialist bike engineers report. If its an insurance company wright off

As kazbanz said. Please tell us the full story rather than parts of bugger all. Might be able to offer decent advice then.

Be best to ask the tester or whoever they work for while your there . Its either fine , or potentially unsafe . Gn125 is it .

Are we talking about a "lapsed rego 125 by any chance? same advice applies. if its just lapsed. I would make sure it is straight and send it off. if it is accident derego then you are best to get the bike cert guy to look at it and measure it first.-that gives you a bit of time to sort it
