Hopefully JJ's pic will show in the link.
IMHO must be one desperate taxi driver to want to do what she says happened.

You have 2 totally opposing stories there and no witnesses.

kazbanz, Aug 8, 4:52am
I find the Taxi drivers story a LOT more plausible that that of a shock jock.
Pity the camera recording wasn't recovered.

Truth probably somewhere in the middle.

I agree.
Factor in that the incident happened around the time that JJ was having a very public mental meltdown. IMHO the last place someone that unstable should be is exposing their entire life in the public eye. If she's not spouting garbage on the airwaves she's the subject of numerous pointless vapid magazine postings (can't call them stories or articles!).
In this case I dont think it's "metoo" but more likely "look at me 'cause I'm super important and famous"

yes same kaz, exaggerations going on here maybe. Stalemate. Who can win with no video. I bet it favours the women. Life is such.

Sorry mate but don't agree.-person 1sloppy rolling drunk. already refused a ride by a couple of taxi's--most likely in fear she will chunder in the car.
person 2 sober -doing their job.
In a former life with a few more pounds on I used to work in a night club.
Removing abusive drunk women has to be by FAR the very worst part of the job. For the record there is NOTHING attractive about a sloppy drunk woman spouting s### that can't even stand up straight.
One "lady" comes to mind. Rotten drunk -even abusing her best mate. The club was upstairs so I was escorting her out. She totters to the top step and on the step starts to go A over K, I go to grab her round the shoulders to stop her fall. Her very short dress comes up as she's heading for the ground floor at a rate of knots. All I can say is -thank god for security tapes.

Brother n law was a taxi driver. Worse clients - drunk women.

amasser, Aug 8, 9:30pm
'had talked about her allegations on social media' - unwise or illegal?

timmo1, Aug 8, 10:30pm
Hmm seems odd. IF she wasn't passed out drunk as she claims, I just find it difficult to imagine How he could've reached back and put his hand down her shirt AND bra as claimed. How could that be achievable?

esprit, Aug 8, 10:54pm
He just wanted her to show bobs and vagene.

But seriously, there's no evidence other than he-said, she-said here. Given that at this time she was going through a very public mental breakdown her credibility as a witness should be negated.

If she'd made the complaint sooner, then there would have been evidence on the security camera or at least evidence that the taxi driver had been obstructive or destructive with regards to that evidence. at least then that might have given her accusations some credence.

So a hung jury. I think I know who should be hung and it's not the taxi guy.

Had a good mate that was a taxi driver. he always said the worst passenger you can get is a drunk as female.

After again attempting to reach a unanimous verdict, Singh's jury returned to tell Judge Dawson they had exhausted all their possibilities and the jury was still almost evenly split.

The jury asked to be discharged and Judge Dawson agreed they had done their best but would be unable to reach a verdict.

Hung juries are not rare and do occur from time to time in the judicial system.

Singh was remanded on bail and will appear in court again in two weeks.

It is now up to the Crown to decide if it will seek a retrial for the taxi driver, who denies the charge and entered a not guilty plea last year.

Actually wonder if they will or not.
