Boy I wish .

we had roads like this over here, especially at holiday time. Realistic speed limits that most seem to travel either at or under. 55mph thru the gorge and then back to 75mph when you exit the gorge. Would love to have a good look around the states one day.

The gorge itself starts at about 1.30 ish if you are the impatient type. I have watched this guy driving quite a bit and he comes across as a good, courteous, professional driver that is driving a long way in front of his vehicle at all times.

yea they are nice roads with not much traffic, but i have just done Uk and Canada and east coast of usa and everywhere near the cities the roads all come to a halt, every country I go to the roads are full, no getting away from it, New Zealand hold ups are nothing compared to these places. Cars are cheap world wide, you can purchase a new gmc truck in texas cheap as with 5 years interest free. Too many people in these countries now. I had a great holiday though.

Yes Intrade, just a watcher, on the wish list but that is probably about as far as it will ever go. Don't like flying much. Melbourne is too far for me stuck on a plane, I don't fancy the idea of long flights, 13 or so hours or 16 or so with a stop doesn't excite me much.

Mostly long climbs thru there by the looks, so if he has a heavy load that will slow him down a bit. It streams live during the day and you can chat (but not to the driver), and some of the chatters are either other truckers, or they know the driver, and according to them the truck is speed limited to 62mph.

There are other live streams on Bigrigtravels but not all of the stream quality is as good as what is coming off of this guys gear. I can watch his full screen on a 27inch monitor and the resolution is really good. Some of the other stuff is not so good but watchable if you don't go full screen.
