just read all the condition in the fine print. You are still covered for some things.

You need to check on the auction blurb. Some Turners auctions are from "In Trade" customers so you get full CGA protection on those. Others are private sellers so then you are on your own unless you can prove that you were misled by the information given to you by Turners.
In general Turners have 3 types of vehicles. Those that Turners own themselves, those that Dealers want to get rid of, and lastly those that private owners no longer want. Then there are also the ones that are repo's or with serious known problems.
IMHO the ones that Dealers want to get rid of are the danger area. There is a reason that the Dealer has sent it off to auction. It might be that it's something they just traded but don't want on their yard, as it's the wrong brand, too old or similar (in which case it could be a good one) or it could be something that has been hanging about for months and they just want it gone.
Unless you are a car expert then make sure you get a good PrePurchase inspection (and not from the AA or VTNZ).
Vehicles at Turners are (sometimes) cheap and there is always a reason for that.
Best of luck.

Purchase a Turners Buy Now and you get the protection of the Consumer Guarantee Act . Purchase AT auction and the CGA will only apply to vehicles sold by Vendors in Trade - however they do have a auction report that will give you a clue on which ones to look at further and which ones to leave alone. You can buy Mechanical Warranty's . Agree with supernova re PrePurchase inspection.

Nope. Well sometimes the online ads will say it's being sold on behalf of a finance coy. Likewise the online ads have a set of scales (like the USA Justice logo) to say the vendor is in trade.
I have found Turners have a no care , no responsibility attitude ! If you buy a car from Turners and it has issues you will be on your own ! Turners do not believe in customer support or after sales service !
My advice " Don't " !
