Hey team Any thoughts on a Ssangyong Tivoli? drove one today and i really liked it. Curious as to how much a service would cost and has anyone had any major/common issues with the Tivolis?

They are a pretty reliable car. They have a few small issues like the handbrake knob. Easy fix reverse camera micro switch fault again easy fix. Clock not holding correct time software update. Servicing cheap as its a basic car. Downside no climate control. Should use fully synthetic 5/30 oil like most modern cars which isn't the cheapest but doesn't hold.much.

Biggest problem with those is its made by a company with a dodgy past and an even dodgier future. Always been an orphan.

Yeah well who would want it. Its doubtful that even the Korean govt would take it even for free and do something with it It surprises me that Ssangyong has lasted as long as it has. As we all know there has been some big names in the motor industry associated with them in the past and all have walked away.
