When I was young Dad had a 1938 Ford 3 window coupe. Mum and Dad where in the front seat and I use to ride on the shelf behind with dog being a coupe. Anyway we where on the open road at about 100kph and was on Mum's lap and decided I wanted to climb back up on the shelf. Getting up there I used the gear lever as a leg up and shoved it straight into reverse gear. They never let me forget that. Was only about 3 at the time.

No seat belts no air bags and none of the hundred other safety devices we have in cars now. yet here you alive and kicking.

Yeah, how times change. Never knew any better in those days and had there been an accident it would have been just another accident. None of today's shouldn't have done this that and the other thing.
