That's not true either, the only light car with a 5 star UCSR rating is actually Japanese and there are loads of 4 and 5 star small cars.

Get a sedan. Corolla GX or Mitsi lancer has a decent safety rating and much cheaper than equivalent hatches or wagons

The Corolla sedan and hatch have the same rating. Right car seems to be choosing UCSR for the hatch but ANCAP for the sedan but that looks like a bug
