Why? 2020 by and large most are slow like cheap vacuum cleaner cords having the need to jiggle some to get them to fully return!.ok some have some dust build up ,or drag a little thru the guides or where they are inbuilt to the seats drag thru seat cover slots but they never seem sprung enough.

actually your not wrong, and my pet hate is when the mrs gets out and leaves a small twist in the belt and it cannot overcome that when winding up, it then ends up jammed in the door.

Have you done this? i dont believe ya can tamper with seat belts ,just saying ,its a savety device.Even seat belt re webbing people have to supply a cert for alterations.No not a wind up #3 ;-) .im blardy serious .

Yes! on the spring side undo the 2 small screws on the cover keep pressure on the cover otherwise the spring will fly out. Then wind the cover anti clock wise 3-4 times replace the screws and the tension should have increased markedly.

The seat belt retractor ya talking about not a briggs and stratton pull start ! Anyways I 1/2 believe you ;-) They look preety much sealed up !will have a look later.shouldn't need to do this though ya know .

you got to give more details if ity like my 96 punto you could wind the spring. However if it has a airbag and potentially a seatbelt pretensioner you cant temper with it as it is way more complex and dangerous overall then old simple seatbelt.
