Hi I’m looking for information the different types of 50mm Ringfeders.
I have a 4x2 tractor unit which in a month or so is having a 50mm Ringfeder fitted, an engineer is doing the design and certification of the draw beam and an engineering shop is fitting it.
However when it comes to bolting on the actual Ringfeder I am wondering what different options there are.
The main thing is that some of the trailer hook ups and disconnects will be done after reversing and close to jack-knifing into tight spots and some trailers are parked on uneven surfaces, so just wondering if a particular Ringfeder is better or worse at doing hook ups and disconnects under these conditions, such as having a swivel socket, or better self centering.
The trailers are light enough, typically less than 12 tonnes, I have Googled and searched but would appreciate any local suggestions.
