My pick would be a throttle position sensor or idle air bypass valve

IAC valve. Does it stall when you come to a stop? Mine started doing this & I think it strips the plastic gears inside. I did clean out bypass with throttle body cleaner & that didn't do much. So I screwed the idle stop screw in a bit more to raise the idle revs.
you also realise if you unpluged it you will have a code stored for it. as codes are not parts to replace, codes are programmed parameters that the system sees outside operational window. like open circuit code now that you unplugged it.
