I finally found it, after being on google for hours, there was two of these wrecks laying around in the 90s here in nz, how many are out there, or would that have been a one of sighting.
Amazing, they can have a large V8 in them which only produces as much power as my 1.8L single cam Mitsubishi Lancer.

It looks like a 'balloon animal' version of a car.

There were two of them sitting just out of town here in the 90s, i couldn't figure out what they were from the back, but i knew that they were american, i havent seen any driving around in this country before with that sort of back end and boot, were any around back then or would it be very rare to have them here.

Not surprised, apart from durability there really wasnt any other reason to buy one. They were always a mishmash of inhouse parts and stuff brought in from the US big three manufacturers. They did what they were designed to do and that was it.

I,me trying to find a database that has the number of vehicles registered by make and moddle, it was posted here a couple of years ago, one of my cars has about ten in the entire town and none the same year as mine, it was realy good but cant find it anywhere on google, there has to be atleast one checker registered in nz.
