Hi there. Anyone got an opinion to share about the 2200W ToolPRO Inverter Generator being sold at Supercheap Auto? TIA.

What will you be using it for?

I have sleep apnea and need it for my machine which draws 3 and a half A and we need to keep a 102Ah deep cycle battery running all night.

"my machine which draws 3 and a half A" what does the machine do, and is it 12 volts?

I haven't any experience with that generator, but took a look at the manual:

Oil changes due every 50 hours - If you run 8 hours a night, you will need to change the oil every 6 hours.

No fuel consumption is quoted, but it looks to be a copy of the honda eu22i generator, which has roughly the same tank size, and lasts 8.1 hours on eco at 1/4 the rated output. Wouldn't expect the knock off to have the same economy as the honda, so don't count on it running all night.

Have you looked into CPAP machines that are designed to run of batteries?
