If you are ever (if it is allowed to be travel etc again) in the USA or probably many other places.
Maybe not such a good idea to pickup random strangers. they may have just abandoned their car after a police pursuit.
Also this pursuit example provides a good case to distinctively customise/ identify one's own vehicle rather than have police pointing guns/ tasers at (in this case) the occupants of any plain black car that looks like the vehicles involved in the incident.
