Recently took a trip there and wondered if the '15 k.p.h.' bend, between Coromandel Town and Whitianga, is the slowest on a State Highway in New Zealand. There might be nice scenery in the Land of a Hundred Hair-pins but you don't have time to look.

The advisory for bend/ bridge 5070 on State Highway 2 heading Wairoa to Gisborne has been to give way (for the one lane bridge)
There's a lookout at the top of the hill, you can park up and look all the way across to jafaland.
