yeah that race had everything from slippery road surface to spots of rain multiple crashes and restarts under yellow and scott dodged it all for a third place finish and a sixth championship win, what an absolute and deserving professional talent he has backed up by a masterclass team.

Wonderful result. Dixon kept a cool head amongst the carnage of the race. My concern was Takuma Sato was just behind Scott in the first part of the race. Sato has a history throughout his Indycar career. How many incidents in today’s race was Sato involved in, 3? Bugger F1

If only we could have Indycar coverage with F1 inspired commentary. The yanks are always taking a break, same as their crap Nascar coverage with minutes of dead air stuck inside a random car.

Thrilled for him. Such a genuinely nice bloke too.
What does it take to win the Halberg Award?
Haven't seen the race or the TV news, but sorry McLaughlin didn't finish. A baptism of fire by the sounds of it.
Hamilton beat Schumacher's record - one we thought would never be broken.

Dixon already won top sportsman twice?
It’s a very subjective award that’s for sure.

True, but never the top award. Agree, very subjective.
Can't compare a shot putter with a Le Mans winner.
