The obvious has happened as leading Dakar bike rider is forced to cable tie his back tyre and hope it lasts till he can get new tyre as the end of the following stage/ day.
New features for the 2nd running of the Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia.
Audio warning for hazards, air bag vests for bikers etc. One tough rule is only 6 rear tyres allowed for the elite motorcycle riders - the organisers state they are trying to make the rally safer and they make a stupid (imo) tyre rule for the fastest motorcycle riders.
