hey guys my ecu caps have begun to create some issues have read its a common problem with them was wondering if anyone's done the repair themselves and if so could give me some pointers on how to do so thanks in advance for any info
well you need good soldering equipment . otherwise your better off to send it for repair get electronics is in the south island. thats the shop from video in post #3 http://www.getelectronic.co.nz/
do it yourself, super easy, spend the money that would cost for the repair on a good soldering iron like a "Hako" and a cheap solder sucker, caps are cheap to buy , I did my KZJ78 and ive got fat fingers and managed to do it

i would not go fit cheap caps from the onehunglow company . i paid 30$ for the caps on my chimei monitor . the caps will now be the last thing to fail like nippon chemikon same caps as 1982 efi toyota have or what was probably originally in the ECU "KLM or some 3 litter are nippon chemicon ones Rubicon panasonic würth are all quality brands www.digikey.co.nz as endorced by dave jones from stralia https://i.ytimg.com/vi/kSmiDzbVt_U/maxresdefault.jpg otherwise you better get it repaired for info on quality id look here https://www.rossmanngroup.com/buy-hot-air-station-laptop-cellphone-repair/ you wont likely need hotair but thats to show the point of why you want a 300$ flashlight for example
