Hmmm, if it is so easy to do a manual turbo conversion, I wonder why he didn't do it while replacing the engine last time.
This bit cracks me up: "keeping a wathfull eye on this auction"

LOL Q and A says he wrote the last one off two months ago, then built this one from another standard skyline with the insurance money. anyone else smell bullshit!

Pretty sure it's exactly the same wording & pretty sure but can't be positive that it's the same photo's

That will sound the S#IT in auto with that rice cannon out the back.Awesome!I wonder if its just a coincidence that the commy (VL) that wore that bonnet also packed an RB engine.

the guy gota bit argo lasttime.

It was withdrawn because the winning bid was in the South Island! Now he can expect to get half of that bid! Anyone bidding on this car now has to deal with someone who says "I don't know!". Totally dodgy.

Carjam shows the vehicle with continuous registration so I doubt it was written off by the Insurance company, I also doubt a claim would have been settled and a rebuild performed in such a short time frame either
franc123,

What, wasn't he happy with the top bid of $2500 for it lol.
cowboy110,
Sep 10, 4:05pm
Yet the warrant has JUST run out.sniff.sniff.I think I smell it too
mr_lovebug,

The car won't get a new WOF as it is.
No high stop light!
(edit added)-- Also think the missing rear wiper might also be another failed item.
bob1120,
Sep 10, 4:21pm
A bit! He had a full blown P fueled rage at anyone that even looked at the auction.
kingfisher21,
Sep 10, 4:36pm
LOL, now this time he reckons it's not even his and he's selling it on behalf.
cowboy110,
Sep 10, 4:54pm
So he can't answer questions because he doesn't know anything about the car, but if you'd like to phone the number supplied you can be abused in person.Alright!

why why why the fluck would you put that much work into an rb20de auto.Guess that goes for a lot of modified cars tho seems theres a group out there only cares about looks yet are quite content and having a dirty 1300cc carbd motor in their 323/civic.
mugenb20b,

High stop, yes. Rear wiper, no.

They reckon they can provide insurance papers and proof the previous car was written off and reregd. Maybe he is honest but regrets building this!
richard198,
Sep 11, 9:22am
Another deluded fool who thinks the car is worth what it owes him!
michael.benn,

Haha he's so full of it, see his answer to my question about the insurance evidence and stuff. I should ask him to send my a picture of it, bet that'll get him going.

lol personally if i HAD to buy it - i would do so, drop engine out replace with 3 litre manual vl motor and box (or the rarer 5l v8 from the vk/vl - cannot remember which one it was now that had them factory) and then have some fun
