I've got a new Hyosung GT250R and the back tires tread is pretty much all gone so I need a new rear tire. This is only my 2nd bike and the first one that has needed a new tire, so I was wondering where in Christchurch do they sell tires, how much approx am I looking at, and how do I make sure I don't get ripped off!

A rear tyre for a bike like that would be around $250-$300 at a guess. A set on my gsxr1000 costs around $800 mark.
Google cyclespot, they are from auckland, but only charge $10 to ship a tyre, and have amazing prices on tyres. And then expect to pay $40-$50 to get it fitted at any motorbike shop in CHCH

I get mine shipped from Cycletreads in Auckland and put em on myself.
See Don at Pitlane out at Darfield, he'll look after you, then when you ride it back via say the airport by Orana Parkit'll be all scrubbed in !
