Yip it most certainly is, I really hope we get the Jeep version here because the NZ Fiat agents are lazy and pathetic and didn't bring the new Panda here officially even though it would suit our market down to the ground.

You can however buy them secondhand ex-Japan and quite a few have been bought in. They are a real cracker of a vehicle and available with fantastic engine options including the cracker little common rail.

You shouldn,t admit to having friends that own Harleys.LOL

richard198, Oct 1, 7:39pm
That's okay. Each to their own etc! They look and sound cool but I've never been overtaken by one though!

fryan1962, Oct 1, 7:40pm
My mate had a Jeep Cherokee it used to tick under the dash, I don't think it had full chassis either, it was a comfortable ppl mover,But with fuel prices I would not want one

desmodave, Oct 2, 7:40am
Just out of interest what Harley's did your freinds buy and why wouldnt they buy 1 again.I wouldnt but a Harley either but i am far to young and would look silly with a beard.

offrd1, Oct 2, 8:39am
Apologise for what.you said Chrysler and the last time i looked the Wrangler was a Chrysler
In our group there is 3 Cherokees,2 Hiluxs [there was 3 but sold for a Cherokee ] and my Wrangler, the Wrangler is better off road but the Cherokees are bloody good value for the money.thething is all of the Jeeps are amazingly reliable, better than both of the Luxs,SO FAR .lol.

richard198, Oct 2, 8:56am
There will always be examples from both sides (good and bad).
The truth is people who have bad experiences are less likely to admit it.
For desmodave ( a Ducati owner like myself!); they were Sportsters and Dynas. (reliability & limited handling)

jeeps r the best ive got a 95 xj with 4 inch lift & 33s best truck ever shits all over other petro 4x4s that age and size

chicken-legs, Oct 10, 4:50pm
I've just bought a 96 jeep cherokee . I feel real dumb but forgot to ask what petrol it runs on . I am too embarrassed to ring the previous owner back cos I've already asked him a real dumb question about the lights in the front doors.Should I feed it 91 or 96 octane!

dr.doolittle, Oct 10, 5:52pm
I'd run it on 96. You may /will pay more at the pump for each fill, but you'll probably get more miles per fill & it will run smother with more power.

chicken-legs, Dec 24, 5:44am
thank you very much dr doolittle :-)
