Is this a bit harsh or fair enough!

Ha ha get the "CHICKEN CHOAKER" ROFPMSL!

jcwholesale, Jan 20, 8:45pm
"It hurts greatly me that you don't like me!" I apologise Yoda, it would seem your constant hounding on my spelling, grammar and cliche' errors has just lost all effect. 10 points for the "shonky used car salesman" thank you very much.

Now please Biker69, please do not flatter yourself, you do not piss me off, in fact your argumentative nature amuses me greatly. It is a shame that your well crafted comments were just brought down with the use of schoolyard language "bulls#!tter" "Cock". It just shows that behind your crafty use of words is an angry man, sitting on a broken swivel chair, smoking cheap tobacco. Well done, you've just painted an attractive picture.

You have the option to select A/C and he didn't. He was honest about what the issues were and I don't see any misrepresentation. If you are going to buy a car feel free to probe the buyer cause it is your money being ponied up, the buyer has no obligation to buy just cause they are taking up the sellers time with questions it's all part of it, how many cars have you viewed in person to find they have issues and don't cut the mustard! Don't be surprised if something comes up and especially don't get butthurt over it. I've looked at cars and had the seller tell me things like "ah yea bro it haz an LSDDDDDDD in it" *shoots "chur bro" look at me* and cars that "go hard az" and on a test drive 0-100 takes 9 seconds like most V6 family cars can do.

I think that the very detailed list of questions is possibly because the vendor is in Lower Hutt and Tsms is in Papakura and wishes to get as accurate an idea as possible before viewing or getting a third party to check it out.

I bought a car from Wellington once and I live in Kaitaia! I asked a hell of a lot of questions before going to get it on the basis it was as described!

The nasty comment was uncalled for, the vendor did the right thing and said he was welcome to come and view.

For me, I tend to find that buyers aren't actually that interested in going through with the deal unless they call you or make arrangements to view the vehicle. Then again, I've had some people buy without even a single word of contact before hand and have been entirely happy with the vehicle when they turn up.

midosa, Jan 21, 4:08pm
If you are too lazy to go and see the car and just ask questions then you deserve what you get. Also i find that most people that ask questions never bid and are just tyre kickers online.

wrong2, Jan 21, 6:03pm
pull the other one

you blacklist when its pointed out how hard certian cars are for spares & repairs

you can give it , but not take it

xs1100, Jan 21, 7:22pm
wonder what happened to first sale on this for 4k when you look at his history

jcwholesale, Jan 22, 6:26am
wrong2 what are you talking about, you are not on my blacklist

whqqsh, Jan 22, 7:21am
#1, questions are fair enough because it looks like its been used as a work wagon & from personal experience guys with steelcaps often kick & scuff things like speaker covers in doors, door panels backs of seats etc etc. & as a work vehicle they do tend to get a harder life than an A-B car. General condition probably should have been described better

This went on a lot longer than I thought, thanks all for the feedback. Also thanks to the apparent regulars who don't like each other hijacking the thread to carry on their fun 'n games.

As I see it now, the first question, asking specific questions about the condition of the car is absolutely fine.Coming back to lecture the seller seemed a bit petty.

This thread has helped me, in that I'm now going to edit my auction to list the few things I know are wrong with the car.

Cheers everyone.

biker_69 I my disappointed with your last reply, I was hoping for something more than just two lines.
The banter we have is quite amusing as there are few people who are as good as you with the use of the English language.
But as you trawl the message board in what appears to be an attempt to irritate many people, filling almost 7 pages in the past month, of posts you have either started of commented in, you must be a very busy person. That to others who read this is being involved in almost 350 different messages in one month. Wow, impressive.
Making the swivel chair comment I made earlier, some what believable.
Anyway, having said that, you have a great day.

I have often wondered about biker_69. Is the 69 part of his handle, his age, his IQ or his sexual preference. Still confused.

sudsy99, Jan 23, 3:19pm
It's the number of anger management sessions his therapist has recommended I think. The word "knob" somehow comes to mind with him.

neville48, Jan 23, 4:44pm
well i'm starting a biker69 fan club. when i see his name on threads i stop and read. love the "banter" and "retorts" [geez i hope i have my spilling correct etc] Re the origin of this thread; there is so much on trade me now if you do not know the questions to ask and how to arrange a viewing of a car to assess the buy then go and buy from a reputable dealer to get a gaurantee by law. A person selling a car sees a car as a minter ,the buyer sees it as a dunger.age old problem. If you buy a car and it stuffs out 99.9% of the time you had the opportunity to do something about it before so carry your own blame.

One thing Im sick to death of is all the pricing experts & wannabe forum makers on auctions - its out of hand

topzone, Jan 23, 6:42pm

biker_69 Don't flatter yourself, checking your number of posts takes less than 30 seconds. I too, work on a computer all day at my warehouse, but I suspect I use the time more constructively than you as I don't have time to trawl the message board as you obviously do.
