You are dealing with professional businessmen. They tend to shaft just about everyone they deal with. There are lots of cool grass roots type racing that need support here, now, nearly every weekend. Supercars are nice but when something else really cool is on at pukekohe or the likes the stands sit a whole lot emptier than they should and it's great viewing cause you get to see all sorts like old cortinas, HQs, civics, skylines, ladas. Pick a flavour, it's probably there at some point. Then I see things like the fast fours and rotaries packed with people and more than half of them are fart cannon try hards with no skills, no springs and no brains.

If the resource concent hadnt been such a long drawn out and expensive process the place would have been completed 2 years ago . Just think how Hamilton concill pockets would look like now without the street race and possibility of having a stake in NZpremier race facility. None of NZ champion drivers learnt to race on street circuits , they all started at Pukekohe .
