Whats the gos on these new 'multi' tools

I believe they will cut a windscreen out too, the urethane I mean. Not the glass.

they have same one in two packs for sale one in cardboard box one cutter

the other one in plastic case with a few more cutters but units are the same

used a bosch one the other day - great tool

Just been to Mitre10Mega.
They have Bosch 180 - basic tool with only one attachment for $118 or a kit with carry case and extra attachments for $175 - the cost of attachments makes the kit better value.
They have a 'Renovator' kit for $179 - lots more attachments but quality unknown. Probably good value for money for a 'several times' user.
They have another 'unknown' brand kit for $159 with some attachments!

I think you will find they were originally a surgical tool,used for cutting off plaster and dressings without cutting up the patient. They have been around for quite a few years,just not as D.I.Y. tools. Fein were the brand I first saw at least 7 years ago.

I agree, they have been around for a while. They are just the marketing darling of the moment, especially the cheap knock offs.
