In your scenario you are talking about an unregistered vehicle, not just no valid inspection. That's different. It could be towed though.

i dont see the problem as its going to be certed,so will be up to scratch so a vtnz wof check which it will require is needed anyway.

Just get it up to scratchget LVV& WOf then get sticker taken offby plods . Going to be diffucult gettingit to certifier , maybe get him to come to you .

They key is to know the rules and outsmart the inspectors. There is a lot of Muppet inspectors, that invent their own fails. So they need to put in there place.
