Like I said, some of my old cars would have ripped your Holden a new one. I can easily buy one again but that would just be a stupid move. Many people on here own/have owned pretty good cars, but they don't feel the need to bang on about them, like you do about your POS.

Actually it does have cruise control. Im comfortable with what I have, I don't feel the need to brag about it in order to hide my failures, especially considering Calais' are nothing worth bragging about.

I can't decide which a Mulitpla looks more like - a frog or a duck lol But seriously trdbzr, after Jazz mentioned a Golf wagon when I started a thread several months ago, I asked around about them and checked out reviews on websites like Top Gear and like what I've learnt so far. I'm looking forward to test driving one later this month.

I do actually like the look of the new Golf's. The problem with Jazz was - he would unnecessarily put down other good cars when comparing them to models from his 'beloved' manufacturers. He would make up flaws for reliable cars and would greatly play down and in many cases outright deny flaws in cars he would push on others. Obviously rotten apples exist for every single manufacturer but Jazz was very one eyed. His rule of thumb was - Anything Euro = PERFECT and Anything not Euro = Rubbish. Which was in many cases not the fact.

Most adults would just laugh it off, acknowledge that it is JUST a messageboard and be done with it. If he takes online things too personally and creates an issue out of it, then that's his problem.

I'm looking at getting a Mk5. From what I've seen of Jazz' posts over the past few months I've been in here, he does actually say good things about some non Euro vehicles. I've also noticed if someone mentions getting a Euro, he will say which ones to avoid and why - sometimes they are VWs. It's okay to disagree with him, just keep it civil :)
