ffs obviously 90% of posters are not familar with the area and the traffic conditions. Should of been in the correct lane blah blah blah what a load of shit. he could of just turned onto the road and needed to turn off straight away. People that speed up so people cant change lanes or merge are the ones that will say you should of been in the correct lane first. imho

A do a lot of driving in Auckland and my pet hate has to be a congested motorway in the weekend. In the regular rush-hour most drivers will make a gap for you if you indicate early and have a little patience. I think we are reaching the critical mass where the regular rush hour commuters are becoming aware that we need a level of cooperating to keep the traffic moving, very similar to what has happened in most large American cities. The weekend however is another story; inexperienced rush-hour drivers view a blinking light as a sign to tail gate the car in front and to defend their position on the road at any cost!

I usually let ppl in if they indicate in advance, what I dont take kindly to is the 'Ive just indicated therefore you MUST let me in' & swerve over. It is a courtesy thing & does work both ways. Youre changing lane & must give way to those already in that lane, if they let you in then alls good, if not its up to you to find the correct gap & move

I have had a driver like you crush into me before I pissed myself when they got a ticket and had to pay for me to get a new car.
