bnt would be a good choice but in 5 years where to go. automotice parts retailing is a fairly limiting occupation and the days of diy on cars are fairly much gone! oil change and thats it

Very happy with staff and service at Repco New Lynn. I know there are cheaper prices to be had but at least Repco is open convenient hours!

BNT, Repco, Appco, Parts Master, SCA and main dealer parts departments; they??

you're right, but you must remember that they hire retail staff and not qualified automotive staff, most of them do learn fairly quickly the things they really need to know IMO.As much as people do gripe about Repco the point is that they are there in the first place, most people who DIY have been caught at least once when doing a job on their car, bike, boat or whatever on a Sunday afternoon and needed something urgently, no matter how well you plan ahead. There isn't anyone else in their field that offers their opening hours and quite the same product lines off the shelf on a nationwide basis, SCA don't come close in terms of having actual repair parts available immediately.

And sadly most really good staff don't stay long.
