i dont like BP, and rarley go there, but to get everyone to boycott BP is near impossible, would be great if it did work (globally) this email has been around for years now, dont think its made much difference, although the oil spill last year may of affected their sales.

Agree.Touch of the tall poppy syndrome there I think.Good luck to anyone who can make a success out of running a business in NZ, as successive governments have made life easier/ better/cheaper for everyone except those running a business. If his business goes kaput, through no fault of his own, will you be happy!
Some people will boycott McDonalds, KFC etc, but it hasn't exactly bowled them over.

Pointed out that your post was full of superfluous bullshit, written to try and anger the reader and try and make them blindly accept the first solution to the problem they never knew they had (till they read the first half of the email).
Seriously have you actually read the whole email! Its pretty obvious that even the person who wrote it thought the idea was pretty week.
tl;dr "Grr, angry angry. petrol is so expensive, rabble-rabble-rabble
Wait, I haz idea!
Happy good idea, save world with spam email and bad maths!"
Thats pretty much the first post reduced down to 3 lines. I bet I could write an email to circulate like that.

I don't buy anything BP mainly because all my local stations are caltex or gas alley ! but the two BP stations that are handy to me would never get my custom again because the couple of times I have used them the cues to pay have been out of control with people Fcuking around buying coffee or pies or something else that they thought the cue of punters don't mind waiting for them to get!

I go to Bp cause i'm on LPG and the only LPG stockists are in town or on the other side of town.I think my carbon wheel print ( & cost to my pocket in the long run )would far out-way the cost of just nipping two blocks to my local BP and paying the same!.

I took a stand against BP, I wish more would do the same. My nz new 2006 car has done 140,000km and not one drop of BP fuel has entered it. I refuse to buy from them because they are the first to push prices up and last to drop.

i wont buy BP either, people still have to remember though that a boycott will only affect the retail chains and the station owners if they are privatley owned.
BP will just sell its fuel to other retail chains, like alot of oil companies already do, it may help things a little, but not much, but at the end of the day, i hate BP.

+1. You wouldn't believe some of the fairy tale stories I hear about why gas is so high at work these days! Totally misinformed public, as usual.
