yep had1966 pc cresta when I was 20 16 years ago in whakataneall standard apart from 4 speed, wade 240 grind cam , customized intake manifold had 350 holley , sacked that for a weber in the later stages had it bored out to 3.6but that was a bit od a failure. The old girl could clean up esp down the matata /pikowai straughts gave a few people a scare at it's performance. Also had a viva and victor with stock standard 3.3 conversion worse thing with the cresta's was the sodden lower wishbone would fold up if you hit a big bump or pothole

Yep, a few Chevettes as driving school cars and a mighty 3.3 FD Victor. The ex rolled the Victor on its side when he was pissed once and spent a few years being reminded by the dented roof line every time he got in it why ya shouldn't drink Elephant beers and drive afterwards.

EIP,s were bad for jumping out of top gear. Tie a bit of string to a brick and let it hang. When in other gears, sit it on the seat beside you. Worked a treat. Have,nt seen an EIP for years, still an LIPlocally though

2 x 3.3 FDs and 2 x FEs. Plus a handful of wrecks for parts. The PC and PB 3.3s go into the FD but you have to change the dipstick. The 2.3 Bedford goes in the FE, and with a 5 speed Celica box and low ratio diff gave tremendous torque. I finally gave up on the fight with the rust in 1995.
