You know I really envy some of you guys. You have the talent & patience to see a project through. Me, I'm way too impatient & just want the bloody thing done as quickly as possible. Short attention span.
My next project is a Yamaha XVS650 dragstar. I'm going to turn it into a bobber.

Cheers Ant. yeah long term prognosis is looking ok at the moment, just have a lot of pain to go through in the meantime in terms of rehab. much like my project I guess. we'll get there in the end, it just requires a steely resolve and patience (and cash).

I'm currently deciding at the moment what I want do, but just haven't found the car I am looking for. My last project was fixing up an old Camaro with a friend and re buildingthe whole thing from the ground up.

no chop needed matey, just a full on flathead, crunchy box and quick-change rear, brush paint job, grotty interior with a couple of SB3 bedford bus driver seats, maybe a michell overdrive for the long runs huh

HONEST TO GOD! Why the hell would a 'moderator' delete post #12. FFS it was only a link to the guys project & it's progress. SO WHAT if it was also a link to another site. There's plenty of other 'chat' sites out there & we're all grown-up enough to find them if we want. "Moderator", I guess if the cap fits.
Maybe I should do what was suggested to me by john. Dear Moderator, can you please give me a RESONABLE explanation as to why the said post was deleted. You can leave your answer here please. Thankyou. Gary.

I do have a vast range of knowledge I just tend don't share it much as I spend more time arguing over knowledge. Its a bit harsh to say I am stupid and not have much knowledge about motoring. So how is their a lack of knowledge. I will try and scan the pictures sometime. It was a 1982, one of the first 3rd generation ones, we ended up dumping a 305 in it. Has the orginal one chucked a conrod through the block.
Go easy on me pal I do know a lot about car, probably more than you think.

I'm not talking about 1965's because the car is not a 1965, I am not ranting I am just telling you what I did. Focus just because your use to me arguing and ranting at people who criticize does not mean every post is the same Pete. So read I am not talking about 1965's that don't exist! They started making them in 1967
First generation were only made for 3 years ifI recall from 1967 to 1969. But then again this will be dribble as well.

No its not what google told me I haven't checked but I will check now and edit this.
First-generation Camaro debuted in September 1966, for the 1967 model year, up to 1969 on a new rear-wheel drive GM F-body platform and would be available as a 2-door, 2+2 seating, coupe or convertible with a choice of 250 cu in (4.1 L) inline-6 and 302 cu in (4.9 L), 307 cu in (5.0 L), 327 cu in (5.4 L), 350 cu in (5.7 L), or 396 cu in (6.5 L) V8 powerplants
They debuted them in sept 66
