If you look at the BMW heavy metal, cast an eye over the MBs as well. Japanese imports confuse the scene for these a bit. you've got to be crazy to spend $30k on a 15 year old toyota supra. sure they are a nice car but they were a nice car in 1995 not 2011.

perhaps 2 cars one a daily driver $8-9k the rest on a toy/weekend car! that way if something brakes you can still get to work.

rx8 nup too small anyway Clubsport well I'd probably consider a VE with 6 or 6.2l in it but theres so many around they date really fast.

I'll still keep 1 POS vehicle for driving to town work etc but if you get to much of a toy bouncy loud or unreliable it just ends up an ornament in the garage/driveway. I really find that under powered or moderate cars are tiring to drive long distances.

I'm happy as with my 6.0L VE, plenty of go-faster parts. Its a nice tourer that can get up and go. They still look good on 20"s.

Silly single me, that is something I don't have to consider. You could always park it over at a mate's place and cycle home or buy her some extra dark sunglasses.

Why though!
Your criteria seems to call for a roomier more comfortable car and the VR4 would seem to fit the bill
