ah he will get sick of the prickle of gorse in his pockets and be back soon enough. its the "banter" so to speak that keeps a lot coming back, imagine how boring it would be if everyone was agreeing with each other all the time. back in the days mt was off his meds on here, now there was some entertainment, havent seen much harrasment of late at all. or are folks just getting softer!

I agree! MT & Pete used to have me rolling around in fits of laughter! Perhaps instead of complaining to each other(effectively the dysfunctional mod will read this), we should complain directly to TM admin & ask for an investigation of some sort. There seems to be no explanation for the pulling of threads or banning of members for what I've seen as 'minor' indiscretions. After all we're petrol heads & whenpetrol head goes off at someone it's bound to be colorful so lets see some 'appropriate' moderating. This is not 'recipes'

You can email and ask the mod's why you were warned, trademe have to give a reason. I'm sure they would be happy to explain.

Why would they have to! They're under no obligation to provide the forums, it's about them wanting to foster a 'community'.I think is in their interest to keep the users happy, but they don't HAVE to do anything.

I went to visit my elderly mother in the hospital a few weeks ago. Walking down the hall 3x nurses were standing talking to each other. As I walked past one made a pass at me & we all laughed & joked (believe me, I was flattered). They still all have their jobs. Now reverse the genders in my story & see what happens.
I rode my cycle in to see mum, but I drove to work the next day.(Just to make it a motoring post).

Firstly I am not saying its spread by me what I am saying is I have recommended you to others because with aging granparents etc and alot of them are into their classic mowers.
Secondly I have not spammed others auctions, but the one thing I will do is try to get the bottom of put downs of problems and try sort them out civilly and maturely. There is no need to hate on others. I have met you in person but since I never mentioned I am a tmmb user you would never know who I was or what I looked like. I don't annoy everyone on this message board it is only small few out of the hundreds of posters that think that.
I don't want to be enemy's with you or anyone, so this immaturity in general on the messageboards needs to stop. Its like children holding grudges. You do a fine job at what you do in very professional manner in real life. So please just pull your horns in and make an effort to get on with each other. There is no reason why anyone needs to be at logger heads constantly with flinging matches like you get in general.
Come on lets try and make this place more enjoyable.

I am not an addict and its not Nana behavior and its not related to me with the mods. If people obeyed the site rules as per that other thread there really would be no warning and bans issued. The complainers are the ones that get caught out doing something they should not be doing. But nothing unusual for me to get the blame for pointing things out face to face on the boards so people don't get official warnings. Since I respect trademes rules I guess thats the price I pay for with most peoples immature attitude in obeying rules.
Oh and reading in general, trademe are having a crackdown. Some of the general folk reckon this place is the worst for rule breaches, hey I don't post in general but just making note of observations I have made. To be honest if I was going to complain I would not back stab the same community I post in. Which is why I point things out kindly, to say don't do it has no one likes warnings. At the end of the day the mod's are just doing the jobs enforcing the rules that everyone agrees to every time they post and so they should.

Only posting in the motoring threads created by others in the same boat, just to support them and show how ridiculous it all is - until those threads get pulled, which they do more often than we realise.Note they pull the threads not the messages.Read into that what you will.
Just about to wander off totally for a while anyway in a day or two.Thanks to all those posters who have supported the warned ones, including myself,sitting patiently on the naughty step.Much appreciated.
