my main problem is really that scuffling hijackers and others - and sorry johnf, you fit that description - are taking over threads that are intended to exchange real info. These shallow arguments are resulting in the the loss of genuinely useful contributors ie biker, papa, socram and others who I use for good info re my interests.If you want to fight with people go somewhere else, maybe down the pub; but let free-speaking but knowledgable people answer genuine questions without silly arguments.

Thanks but I do try to keep on topic but when some issue insults out of the blue (even if nothing is said) I am sorry but I can't ignore it I will fight back. Saying its all one persons fault is a bit harsh as it takes 2 to argue and the people that are banned only have themselves to blame no one else. No one here tells them what to post. But yup I agree the flinging matches need to stop and the dedicated threads, especially when its on topic and someone has to throw an insult into the mix because of god knows what reason. I will continue to post but really its the whole community that needs to work better and try get on rather than taking the . constantly and baiting.
