mottly - "Bit worried about breaking the mouldings at the top of the doors - they look like a biartch to take off" mottly, as quickstitch said, it would take a lot to break the plastic mouldings, the clips will break before the mouldings will, but even then you're not completely sunk as you can get a packet of trimclips from the likes of supa cheap that should do the job if you break some of them (hard not to sometimes, they are very brittle). Can't believe your local guy quoted that much just to glue some stuff directly to the metal LOL! With a wagon not hard to get the whole thing out the back door, different story with a 4-door sedan. With the money you'll save doing a DIY buy some nice new cloth from an upholsterer and give it a go

cheers bluecambridge.Sounded like a pretty crap job for what he quoted me huh.so I'm stripping it all out next week when the kid's are back at school (so they don't hear me swearing lol).It kinda looks more like the board on the lining is really just 'sitting' on the plastic mouldings.but I'll be carefull and have a go.Think the original material is way too stretchy.might go for black fuzzy material (lol joking).
