Our cops should consider this.

haha on to it

attitudedesignz, Apr 15, 2:42pm
What a cock. If i was doing the speed limit i wouldn't move over just so he could get past.

thejazzpianoma, Apr 15, 2:52pm
Actually I am with you on that, assuming the speed limit I would do the same especially now 5km/h tolerances are effectively becoming norm.

saxman99, Apr 15, 4:00pm
If they were doing the speed limit the cop wouldn't have moved him over. This guy was obviously nowhere near the limit.

attitudedesignz, Apr 15, 4:25pm
For who! For some big fat US cop to get to the donut shop faster! Well f**k that.

And yes i'm the kind of wanker that will do 100kph in the overtaking lane as well, no one has more rights on the road than anyone else.
Yes of coarse emergency vehicles are the exception.

pollymay, Apr 15, 5:13pm
You know why I have bullbars on my car right! You have the right to get out of the fu**ing way before you cause a crash cause someone lands up running out of passing lane were stuck behind you. Some emergency vehicles aren't marked either, the one at our local race club is just a black mirage first response unit and he uses that as his car for that.

We have so many accidents on the motorway and part of it is wanky people assuming everyone wants to do the limit in the fast lane forcing them around into slower lanes to overtake. It ends in tears far too often cause someone in the far lane changes lanes at the same time to go round a truck or something.

attitudedesignz, Apr 15, 5:22pm
No but if you hit my car when i'm obeying the laws then we will see if your bullbars fit up your arse won't we.

wrong2, Apr 15, 5:44pm
the day Aucklanders understand the meaning of a fast lane is the day i drop dead of amazement

pollymay, Apr 15, 5:53pm
It;s got nothing to do with obeying the law. If you put someone in a position that is dangerous I see no reason why they wouldn't butt you to avoid being rear quartered and perhaps either land up in oncoming traffic or dead in a ditch. You can threaten all you want now but put someone in that position, put me in that position through law abiding arrogance and watch what happens, I don't give a crap if you break my nose after cause I won't be dead and that matters most.

There is no reason you can't do that speed in the overtaking lane minding your own business or when it's quiet on the motorway, what lights my wick is someone doing it and ignoring that it puts others at risk just cause they wouldn't move over a lane so they could play policeman in heavy traffic or the likes. Laws are there to protect everyone, being active in that role is one better.

saffa2, Apr 15, 5:56pm
I thought the speed limit was 100k's, not whatever some wanker wants to do in the 'fast' lane.

attitudedesignz, Apr 15, 6:09pm
Kinda what i thought to.

gunhand, Apr 15, 6:16pm
Ive been driving a few years now and have yet to come across these "fast "and "slow" lanes everyone keeps mentioning. I thought open road limit was 100kph (unless otherwise stipulated) regaurdless of what lane you are in on a motorway. As I understand there is no law thats says you must do the 100kph on the open road but pretty sure there is one saying you must not impead traffic flow.
So what is the speed limit in these "fast" lanes!
Im also sure if two cars are doing 100kph side by side on two lane highway theres diddley squat you can do about it.
When I hear the words "fast lane" it gives me the impression that you are able to go faster than all the other traffic in that lane even if the other lanes are doing 100kph.

wrong2, Apr 15, 6:19pm
regardless of what the arbitary speed limit is

if your on the right & have someone barreling up behind you & you dont move over - your a muppet

its called commen courtesy. & its an indication your an alert driver

people who dont pull over deserve the insults & ridicule they recieve

johnf_456, Apr 15, 6:22pm
+1 The fast lane is more known as the speedsters lane in the real world and speedster don't like anyone using it because they can't drive at 120. Provided you keep left unless passing it is very legal.

gunhand, Apr 15, 6:24pm
Its also illegal to hit someone from behind so the person who does the ramming is in the wrong 99.9% of the time also regaurdless of the speed of the rammed car.

saffa2, Apr 15, 6:26pm
From angry little men with big cars and small penises.

wrong2, Apr 15, 6:27pm
when i typed "alert driver" , its a stand in for "not a whanker"

of course the world has plenty of people who share johnf's personality & they revel in it

wrong2, Apr 15, 6:29pm
the trouble with most ASSumptions , is that the maker of them is usually a fool

johnf_456, Apr 15, 6:30pm
Why whats the problem, I keep left on the road, obey every road rule, courteous. If you want to speed that is no elses problem but you're own. Keep left unless passing now is that not the rules of the road!

johnf_456, Apr 15, 6:32pm
Correct mate

wrong2, Apr 15, 6:35pm
if i want to speed, its up to me to pass safely

if i want to be an arrogant prick & cause hold-ups to traffic flow because i try to force others to go my speed - thats also not a "problem"

because we all live on planet johnf

attitudedesignz, Apr 15, 6:35pm
I'm a whanker I'm a whanker I'm a whanker I'm a whanker.oh shit that should be WANKER.

It helps that when you call people names you do so with correct spelling.clown.

johnf_456, Apr 15, 6:37pm
Editing quotes to advantage yourself, because you can't by law and proof I am doing nothing wrong. Please explaining forcing others to do your speed, you are welcome to do whatever xx speed you want but trying to make other people that is not on. I assume your forcing includes dangerous tailgating like most do!

gunhand, Apr 15, 6:37pm
I assume you mean, driver x is in the right lane doing 82kph and driver z comes up behind them doing 100kph and driver x dosent/wont pull over.In this case driver x should pull over asap as not to impead traffic. If driver x is doing 100kph.well he dosent have to pull over at all for anyone, except for emergancy services who must have lights and sirens on at the time.
Unless there is some law aying something else of course.
And anyway if driver x is holding you up in the right lane why dont you just indicate and go off into the left lane and pass him by at the first oppertunity.
