This was last year wasnt it & the police origonally wouldnt prosecute saying he hadnt done anything wrong .So what changed their minds!

Sad about your mate, very sad, and a stupid thing to do by the cop, but suggesting that cops will continue to do it if they dont hammer this one is a bit silly.No one wants to have that on their mind.Revenge wont make anyone feel better.

I agree. The issue with this case was the fact that the police denied doing anything wrong instead of 'fessing up . For that reason alone I wish a huge punishment on him. That may deter all these other U-turners at inappropriate moments etc.

I agree with you but I felt the first poster (who I spoke to) was going over the top on the punitive punishment side.
