Any chance of a scan of what they've actually given you! I'm kinda curious.

It is illegal for any private entity to levy 'fines' upon the public. The word 'breach notice' would be classed as an intention to levy a fine.

rsr72, Apr 9, 2:19am
.It does of course come from the most hated entity within New Zealand, one which has featured countless times on 'Fair Go'.

little devil sits on my shoulder.
What would happen if you rocked up to a Wilsons Parking, took the ticket at the entry gate, but then simply reversed out and drove away without entering the building! Could cause some interesting complications.

I have in the past pressed the button twice to try to get 2 tickets and failed. A friend walked over to it and was not able to get a ticket. I like the reverse out idea, then that ticket can be given to someone who has parked there for ages to pay less ;)

Picture a saveloy being tossed down a wide hallway.

the ticket dispensers and the boom gates require a car (or something metal and fairly substantial) to be over the inductive loop sensor in the road to operate.basically it needs an input from the sensor AND a press of the button to issue a ticket. the boom gate is similar.it senses when a car is going through and when the car is off the loop sensor the boom comes down.
