Had to miss out on that day as had freind in need in hosp and that was more important. butyes get around with them for lots of goons and fun times. have spare bikes here if you feel the urge for a ride around some watering holes.

bringing back lots of memories for a lot of people,a lot of us seem to forget what ever happened to the ones we had as kids.

My chopper was purple. I customised it with an awesome set of ape hangers I found in my Grandma's shed. I was king of the street for a few weeks.

I also had a dayglo flag on a (probably lethal in an accident) fibreglass pole, and spokey dokeys.

Yes it was. I think that both wheels were the same size, but I could be wrong. The memory for that far back aint what it was

Ihave a raleigh sprint stored at a mates place. It was was bought for me in 1978. Its very similar to achopper but hasa smaller banana seat and no sissy bar. Ape hangers a a tad lower but hasT shifter, big andsmall wheels etc. They were all brown with yellow graphics.

I had a healing cruiser, in poo brown. no where hear as cool, but had that cool sprung loaded carry holder on the back. What really were you ment to do with that! LOL. Three gears on the twist grip. low med and hi. It was so "radical" man. Good times.

I just found my one in the back of the woodshed. Pretty rusty but the wheels still turn and all there. Not sure which model it is but was a cool Raleigh twenty if anyone wants it come and get it. Its worth restoring. probably needs new tyres.

I have a yellow one just like the one in the photo. It does need some work but its original right down to the factory tyres that although have lots of tread the rubber is cracked ( 35 years old). My Grandfather bought it for me in 1976 (still have the reciept) when I was 3 (too young to ride) so my Grandfather would ride it sometimes , and it was stored in the house, not the garage. In 1981 when my Grandfather passed away I inherited the bike and I have owned it ever since.Unfortunally I was a typical rough 8 year old and the bike had a hard life for a few years. The bike has been stored virtually unused now for over 20 years.
