quite alot of people, you'd be surprised, often tyre shops have offered to sell me 1 tyre without recommending i get 2 as well.

richardmayes, Feb 1, 1:37pm
$150 for two new tyres yesterday for her Laser.

Whew guys. You try sitting in my seat at 20th of the month.
If all I had to pay was $600 I'd be dancing around the room;-)

mothergoose_nz, Feb 1, 3:29pm
well if you save $45 every 6 months what do the gov get from wof s

extrayda, Feb 1, 6:11pm
Kaz hhhmm 20th - car related or ex-wife related (I have expenses every 20th too - they magically go up by 10% if you are even a day late.!)

woody1946, Feb 1, 8:11pm
Don't forget that $600 is a weeks wages for some. What is expensive for some will be pocket money for others, it all depends on what you earn

dinosaw88, Feb 1, 9:12pm
$100 for wof, $150 for 3 months rego, $40 for tyres changed onto legal rims, and a bit more for bits and pieces for wof.Bitch blew the head gasket the very next day, 200km out of town.

Our Mazda Atenza cost us $1200 today for a rebuilt A/C Compressor

moosie_21, Feb 1, 11:27pm
Screw that, why not just ditch the A/C and roll the windows down! Make the car lighter, use less gas, AND you save the money!

andrewrender, Feb 1, 11:37pm
Thought about it but couldn't run belt without it rubbing ( so the mechanic said )

rlr29, Feb 2, 12:03am
You could not have done wof and rego and "all that" for $200.

ratherbefishin, Dec 2, 7:43am
Yep, did the same for the lil Corolla I have for sale. Rear suspension, sway bar bushes, solenoid for idle and a replacement drivers seat belt, and wof .$500, didn'think that was too gad really. Sucks that it's sold now though, and getting a bill for $500. Oh well, onwards and upwards.
