Though, in fairness to Jazz, you have picked one of the MOST misguided
Italian dashboards ever there, that is almost as plasticky as a Japanese one. They Ities also do things like this:

Ok OP heres some ideas.
1)NEW model serena--yes in grey cloth
2)Toyota estima - for your budget around 04/05 -grey and sometimes black interior
3) Nissan pressage-SOMETIMES with a grey interior but more often with a kinda muddy grey
4) Odyssey - The grey interior tends to bethe apsolute model
5) Smaller-more station wagonish--Toyota Wish-almost always grey interior.
6) Honda stream--almost always grey or black interior
Thats 5 off the top of my head--My first suggestion would be a wish given your description of what you need

Thats 6 off the top of my head--My first suggestion would be an 1800 VVTiToyota Wish given your description of what you need.
The 1800cc engine has a proven track record for reliability and they are pretty darned economical
