Not talking about v8s mate I think your in the wrong thread

timmo1, Feb 27, 9:27am
Difficult to make.but hey, go nuts, it's your money :)

I believe you can get spline-jointed eccentric shafts now, reduces apex seal spit-out at high revs.

Hurley engineering in the UK make 3, 4 and 6 rotor engines from standard Mazda 2 rotor parts

1ollie, Feb 27, 2:58pm
Should be awesome if all works out well which I think it will, they have made 380rwkw from a N/A 4 rotor in the past so with any luck they will make around 550rwkw for this one! not bad for a little 2.6's and 3.9's haha

morrisman1, Feb 27, 3:54pm
barp barp barp bang

1ollie, Feb 27, 4:21pm
Nice troll morrisman1 but your into Morris's! hahahaha ohh you poor fool

rotormotor7, Feb 27, 5:28pm
Is gonna sound like nothing else.

dummy mounted in an Rx4, thought would be much more room in an rx7 engine bay myself.

morrisman1, Feb 27, 5:29pm
I sure am! I pity the folk with no imagination. Barp Barp Barp

extrayda, Feb 27, 6:07pm
my thoughts! egg beater on steroids!
Personally hate the noise they make, like the looks of RX3's, maybe a lexus V8 powered one ;-).
Got to respect the PAC performance guys though.

I remember my rotary days, rx808 conversion doing 3rd gear "fishtails" in the dry, after 1st and 2nd of course. We had a 13b monster bridgeport that back then was only surpassed by the PP, thing used to rock from side to side at the lights as it pulsed. Now I drive a family falcon sedan. How things changed. Rip it up OP

the 787 and the rx7 thats racing just sound like any other highly tuned race motor, at high rpm it doesnt really matter what the engine configuration is they all just whine. At low rpm they sound gutless as sh1t.

Much rather have a nice diesel like this

noswalg, Feb 28, 2:54pm
this thing sounds amazing when your standing next to it, even at idle it's near deafening. And hey 6.99 @ 196MPH you can't doubt it's power http://www.youtube.com/watch!v=vt4RPJBlhEg&list=UULPX4Bea4CnniWDOvW6Fk0g&index=2&feature=plcp

noswalg, Feb 28, 2:57pm
That thing is cool, I do like the sound of a dirty big diesel

un_known, Feb 28, 3:20pm
yeh damn nice looking truck too, wonder how much power it makes.
Still doesnt compare to a Merlin, that has to be the best sounding engine ever made, good old British engineering. No way you could ever get a rotor to roar like that.

1ollie, Feb 29, 8:19pm
Yeah no imagination making a 4 or 6 rotor engine to see what happens aye! but those guys that are into the amazing, modern, powerfull and exciting Morris engines that everyone still uses in many many cars are today are true inovators lol

1ollie, Feb 29, 8:23pm
All words of someone that clearly hates rotarys yet has minimal knowlege of motoring overall

jason18, Mar 1, 5:00am
hahah Monster bridge port. Love that saying. All the boys had monsta bridgies then I asked My engine rebuilder charlie evans and he was like no such thing haha. I now drive a falcon too left the rotary days way behind

bellky, Mar 1, 8:12am
monster bridge = j port pretty much (ported through water seal and notched housings)

un_known, Mar 1, 8:40am
LOL whatever man i dont hate rotarys, its an impressive design id like to own one myself but id try to make it as quiet and deep as possible cause i think they sound like sh1t. You are obviously a single minded rotor fanboy though so no point discussing it with you.
