If that bike has done less than 1000KM's then I'll go he. Thats the 'trip' meter reading you're looking at. Jeeesh, its a wreck - definately not worth $1500.

Fits the bill with blowby forcing oil from crankcase.
Get it professionally assessed ASAP and go to the Disputes Tribunal if he won't come to the party on repairs.

id politely inform the seller of the problem/s and ask if they are prepared to negotiate a resolution. To me the only resolution is them paying ALL repair costs or a refund as they have mis-interpreted it, it must have been bloody smokey for them before it got to this stage of condition.

Get a refund, seller has already said its a good runner. Why did you keep bidding up when no one else was! I do know how you feel. I bought a 94 yzf750 for $1500 + $400 freight ended up being the biggest pile of crap I have ever bought, seller wouldn't even answer e-mails or phone, so have to wreck out only got $375 back so far its going to be a long time before I see my $1900 again.

Damn dude, that shite sux.If they wont play ball with repairs or refund il send some boys around to get it =) and the reserve was $1500 so bidded upto that amount, people just think they can rip people off and get away with it.this guy pissed with the wrong dude
gimmeyourshit1,
Mar 26, 4:27pm

**UPDATE** have had reply form seller, the XR was in full mint running condition before mainfreight picked it up.it had 958kms on the trip meter when the bike left.it now has 228kms,he also sent me the service record for it,new rings.the works.over $1000 spent on this, its looking like mainfreight workers, maybe in whangarei where it sat for 2days,and then auckland for 8days.have wrecked it,so it done 90kms in the process of transit, funny that.the plot thickens.
